Ramon Abelardo Commare

Digital Design

Originally Born in Manila, Phillipines, Ramon moved to Kentucky as an Immigrant with his mother in 2004 when he was just 8 years old. Ramon has always had a knack for adventure and design. Growing up he spent a lot of free time creating YouTube banners and Call of Duty montages on After Effects. After graduating High School in 2014, he enlisted in the US Navy. During his 7-year active-duty tenure, Ramon was stationed in San Diego, Japan and Sicily. It was there when he found his passion for storytelling, photography and filmmaking. After picking up his first “pro” camera body in 2019, Ramon kickstarted his creative portfolio. He spent his last 2 years of active duty sharpening his skillset until he separated from the Navy in Fall of 2021. He decided to pursue his dreams in design and move cross-country to Denver, Colorado. It is here where he enrolled in the University of Colorado Denver and will be graduating with a BFA in Digital Design in May 2026. After graduation, Ramon plans on continuing to pursue his filmmaking dreams in commercial work and aspires to one day produce his own big-screen film.
