Digital Design

Michelle Wu is a Digital Design student at the University of Colorado Denver. She works across motion design, video editing, and graphic design, but is especially interested in how rhythm and timing shape the way something feels. Over the past four years, she has worked on different types of projects, from branding and interface design to animation and moving image. At some point, her focus started to shift. Less about making things look polished, more about building mood and atmosphere. Her work is often influenced by films, games, and animation. She tends to gravitate toward pieces that feel a little quiet, sometimes a bit tense, and not always fully explained. Not everything needs to be clear. Small details, timing, and visual rhythm can do a lot on their own.
