CJ is a college student, designer, and photographer from Colorado. They were introduced to photography by their dad when they were a kid, when he was taking pictures for photo contests. Jumping forward to high school, they took two photography classes with their graphic design teacher. This same teacher inspired them to go to college for graphic design, which they’re almost done with.
CJ has struggled with their self-image since high school. The COVID lockdown was especially hard for them, and they almost didn’t make it through it. They taught themself how to draw around the same time they started therapy. Their therapist suggested that they draw to help themself. This worked for them, and now they’re a strong advocate for art therapy.
