Anya Ortiz

Art History

Anya Ortiz is an artist and art historian working primarily with photography. Her academic work focuses on contemporary art, specifically transgender art and artists. Her time volunteering at Museo Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo and interning at the Denver Art Museum fostered her passion for public art and shaped her plans to continue working in museums after graduating in December 2026.
