Sharifa Moore is graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Colorado Denver. Sharifa’s photographic interests range from contemporary color photographs to analog and historic processes. During her time at CU Denver, she enjoyed the honor of being a recipient of the EUReCA Fellowship and the opportunity to study abroad in Italy. Her photographs explore relationships between the dynamics of family, self-identity and catharsis. Sharifa has shown at the Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence, the Emmanuel Art Gallery, Crush Walls Denver as part of Big Picture Colorado, Studio Altieri and at the CU Denver School of Architecture. She currently lives in Evergreen.
