Gabriella Nadine Mezta

Gabby Mezta was born in Denver, Colorado. Her passion for photography started at the young age of eight when she got her first camera. At sixteen she took her first photography class in high school. She loves to create and learn so she decided to major in photography and learn more about her chosen discipline. Gabby has spent four years studying historical photography, multiple techniques, and photographic processes. Her work has shown in a group exhibition at Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence, Italy. Her next show is a group exhibition for her BFA thesis at RedLine Contemporary Art Center in April of 2023. In this series she explores the memories of her past through family snapshots and revisiting the locations of where they were taken years later. Exploring how a photograph can hold onto memories of who you were and how it's okay for you to incorporate it into who you are today.
