Pidge Boyet is an illustrator born and raised in Denver, Colorado. They have skills in printmaking, painting, and digital rendering. Often, they use bold, eye-straining colors, and a unique style that utilizes half-toning elements. Animals and nature greatly influence them, and most of their works focus on one of these two topics. After graduating, they would like to travel to expand their knowledge about different environments and the creatures that inhabit them.
Currently, they are working on their B.F.A. thesis, “Our Biodiverse Planet.” which you can find more information about on their website: calicocorvid.com/our-biodiverse-planet. This project hopes to highlight specific animals and environments while also addressing topics related to sustainability and fashion waste.
