I am an illustrator and research assistant in a neuroscience laboratory. I have always had one foot in the sciences and the other in visual arts, and this effort to metaphorically be in two places at once comes through in my work fairly frequently.
I work in both traditional and digital media, sometimes combining the two. I draw inspiration from a variety of sources, but I am especially interested in the science fiction genre as a whole, and the depiction of robots, androids, and AIs in fiction in particular. I love that stories in this genre can range from playful and lighthearted to profound and deadly serious, and I aim to use this range of expression in my own work.
