Aly Chen is a Denver-based Illustrator and aspiring tattoo artist.
The current focus of her practice examines the intersections between cultural traditions, tattooing, and storytelling. She hopes to spread knowledge regarding the impact of tattoos in cultivating our relationships with the earth, ourselves, and each other.
Her personal work also explores contemporary and historical references, often reflecting upon her Taiwanese-American identity. Outside of art making, she is a bookworm, growing yogi, avid hiker, and baker of all things sweet.
