Noah Segura is a Colorado native, born in Pueblo and currently residing in Denver to study with an emphasis in Painting and Drawing at the University of Colorado Denver. In his work, Noah utilizes his knowledge of both painting and drawing in service of character-driven and narrative-driven pieces, with much of his work being what appear to be scenes of a bigger story, focusing on expressing a subject’s emotional state and personality, or fully produced films. Noah finds that through this study of character and narrative can he learn more about himself and the human mind, aiming to further understand what makes himself and those around him tick. Noah finds much inspiration through media that combines the audio and the visual—movies, live-action or animated, particularly. He has previously exhibited his work in his home town’s own Colorado State Fair multiple years in a row.
